We are seeking witnesses following an assault in Louth.

This was believed to have happened at around 2am today (1 January) outside Bar Boulevard on Aswell Street. A member of staff was reportedly bitten and punched in the face.

A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and remains in police custody.
